Basic Salad Dressing

Oils of Paicines Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Red Wine Vinegar
Oils of Paicines Dijon Mustard
In a mixing bowl add 1/3 vinegar and 2/3 extra virgin olive oil. This ratio is in proportion to the size of the salad you are creating. An average salad can take 2 tablespoons of vinegar, 6 tablespoons of olive oil and 1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard (or more) to taste.
Whisk in the bottom of the mixing bowl and add your lettuce on top. Gently blend until all leaves are coated. Salt and pepper to taste (add hot pepper flakes for some zip).
This recipe is a good alternative to bottled dressing and takes only seconds to make. You can also add any ingredients to this dressing to enhance the flavor. Enjoy~
